Temporary Worker Visa Australia
Worrying over skills shortage in Australia, Andrew Leigh, an active member of ruling party, outraged for increasing the number of skilled migrants in the country to fill the huge requirements of workers in the Australian labor market.
Leigh stretched the matter of skills shortage that can be a great hurdle for economic developments and advocated for increasing the permits for temporary migration, which will be a great step to fill the job requirements in the country.
He also highlighted the Australian economy that is at peak in terms of growth and some massive projects that include Anglo American’s mining project and Gorgon natural gas project are expected to take the total cost of $43bn to start and develop. Such projects are set to be started at the Western Australian coast.
Mr. Leigh, however, vindicated on his main issue of skills shortage through his article published in The Brisbane Times on 8th of August and stated that the problem could be solved if the Australian government willing to do it by issuing more temporary worker visas to the deserving candidates.
The 457 visas, a great option for temporary migrants that allows them to work and reside in Australia for a limited period of four-years, must be granted to more overseas workers, so that they can come to the country and fill the huge job vacancies.
